Leslie's Restaurant Journey

January 14, 2011

THIRD STOP: LESLIE'S RESTAURANT, ALABANG

Our 3rd Food Stop is Leslie's Restaurant located near Alabang Town Center. We ate here to celebrate. We never expected that the celebration will be more rewarding as soon as we enter the place. Lunchtime budget 500 pesos

What's good about the place:

- first and foremost "EAT ALL YOU CAN"....MY GOSH!
- The structure is so classic, old fashioned and hands down to the architecture and the architect. The comfort room is beautiful. We loved it
- For the food: (Their set up is the on the spot cooking and grilling)
    - The Crepe Station is so cool especially for those who are craving for crepes
    - They also have the Mongolian station similar to mongolian quickstop
    - The soup station (few selections however we were still satisfied when we
chose Sinigang na Salmon sa miso...ang sarap dude!)
    - There were a lot of raw meat hooked in a bbq stick ready to be grilled
    - The Dessert station was so many and we loved it especially the buko
      pandn which is our favorite
    - Last but not the least is their cooked recipes and they are so
delicious ( There was pecking duck, and it's my 1st time to eat...yummy!)

Bad experience:

- The Machine for the bottomless softdrinks is not working thats why we just drunk water and their lemonade however the lemonade is not too good...

Happy Eating: Start now before its over  =)

Tong Yang HOTpot (as in literally hot so caution) Journey

January 5, 2011
INSIDE THE PAN PACIFIC MANILA HOTEL

SECOND STOP: TONG YANG HOT POT, PEDRO GIL

Our second Food Experience is eating in a Chinese Restaurant. This is the kind of set up or restaurant i'm looking forward to eat. and my wish came true! =) We ate at a branch located in Pedro Gil, Manila which is located inside the Pan Pacific Hotel. It was lunchtime.

What's good about this place:

- first and foremost it is " EAT ALL YOU CAN"
- The Grill on the middle of the table with a hotpot in the center isle is amazing (the feeling of cooking your own fresh food near you is just so cool)
- Its unique HOT POT set up (they will give you an option on what soup you want to try and we tried the chinese satay soup, and i can say the soup is just fair enough, it didn't actually catched my taste)
- one of the most amazing things are the Fresh Seafoods(different kinds of fish, squid, shrimp, mussel, clams, and my favorite is the white clam i dont know the specific name but that is so delicious!), raw meats( chicken, pork, beef divided in different parts), a selection of different vegetables(mostly green leafy veggies, for the soup) and a lot of add ons like sotanghon, tofu and many many more.
-" The Change Grill " well so far what i knew about buffets is that you can change plate, Well in Tong yang that is also applicable on top of that they change grill (I think maybe because there were only few customers eating at the time we were there. Maybe if all tables were occupied there will be no change grill), anyway it was cool.
- And since there were only few customers eating at that time, the waitress or receptionist assisted us in cooking our food and we were like so comfortable eating
- for a dining cost of 500pesos, it already includes bottomless drinks...awesome!

what's not good about the place or let's just say our bad experience

- That would be cooking our food because the grill is so HOT the butter is like fireworks in the sky and we got burns a little on our hands but it doesn't matter actually!

So for anyone trying to eat at this kind of resto, check first the level of heat to avoid burns, that's all

Happy Eating and Godbless

Yakimix Journey

December 8, 2010

FIRST STOP: YAKIMIX MOA

Yakimix is our 1st Buffet or Eat all you can or Food Trip or whatever you call it Food Experience. We had a wonderful experience with this Japanese Restaurant. We ate at a branch in Mall of Asia

Advantages or Positive Comments or What's good about this place:

- 1st and foremost "EAT ALL YOU CAN"
- The Venue is awesome and very beautiful
- The smokeless Grill on the middle of the table with some of the fresh seafoods(basically, the most common is shrimp, squid and different kinds of fish, the best is salmon)
- The cooked Japanese recipes(so many, so delicious, especially the rice and the egg omelet, different kinds of sushis, cakes, ice cream, bottomless iced tea), what more can you ask for
- Every time a new customer comes in, all the employees are shouting like "Aah Mase-Mase", and we were like imitating them which is really amazing and great

We started eating at 5:30 until 7:30pm. Imagine how long we are there eating and eating and eating!!! Heaven
I can prove to anyone that this is really on demand because before we left we notice that all tables were occupied  and there were lines outside waiting on the list....I can say that this is the best Japanese restaurant so far

Disadvantages or Negative Comments or Suggestions:

- Maybe the tempura, its not that tasty...sorry...rating it will be 8/10 still passed
